About Us

The Comic Book Lounge opened on College Street on February 8th, 2012. In our three plus years of operation we have shared the location with other like-minded businesses such as: The Toronto Cartoonists Workshop (2012-2013), Guerilla Printing (2012-2014), The Temple of Toys (2013-2015) and Back Space Toronto (2014-2015).

We are committed to providing excellent service, and a hassle-free environment for aficionados of every age and gender. Like other comic stores we carry new release comics, back issues, graphic novels and trade paperbacks, toys, statues and other items. We offer a free subscriber service where we will pull and hold the latest comics and graphic novels for you so you never have to worry about missing an issue. New and recent release comics and all graphic novels and books are US cover price exchanged to Canadian dollars using the rate we purchase the items at (variable per week).

Please Note: This location is closing on April 30, 2015. At that time the Lounge will become a subscription-based business and we will be more active at Toronto and area conventions.

  1. Hello Comic Book Lounge and Gallery. I want to Nominate you with a Blog meme award known as The Reality Blog award. I just really find what you are doing with your store to be both interesting and excellent. I actually keep on meaning to visit you, but I never find myself in your area. But I hear that you are doing excellent things and you keep a note of them on here. That is why I want to give you this Award meme but, if you don’t think it appropriate for this Blog I understand and you can certainly delete this comment accordingly. Anyway, the link to the Award can be found here: http://wp.me/p2qfuv-sz if you are interested. I also have a few articles that you might be interested in on the rest of my own Blog as well. Take care.

  2. Heard about y’all from the commenter above me ^ … Just heard about the Lounge in the past few months and will definitely come down to check out your titles sometime in the coming days. My blog is largely dedicated to reviewing political / historical / educational comic books – http://nmguiniling.wordpress.com – Thanks and talk soon!
