The Comic Book Lounge opened on College Street on February 8th, 2012 (days after the closing of Dragon Lady Comics). The Lounge moved from that location on April 30, 2015 when the lease expired (we opted not to renew). From May 1, 2015 until December 31, 2016 we provided subscription and special services. All subscription services are provided now by All New Comics, Inc.
So what now?
Well, now that we are not a new product provided, the Comic Book Lounge + Gallery site has been tagged KevtheMev’s Comic Book Lounge + Gallery, a place where I (that is, me – Kevin Boyd) will promote upcoming shows where I will be vending and/or any events in which I am working.
As of October 2015, I accepted the position of Comic Relations Coordinator and lead comics consultant for Fan Expo HQ – the company that oversees pop culture events in Toronto, Regina, Vancouver, Dallas, Orlando, Tampa and most recently, Boston.
I am also the director/producer of the annual Joe Shuster Awards with the support of many comic book retailers from across Canada.
We have a large inventory that is kept off-site, and items can be requested for pick-up or delivery. please contact us with your requests

Comic Relations Coordinator for Fan Expo HQ (as of October 2015), previously Canadian Comic Guest Coordinator (from 2007-2012). Co-founder/co-promoter of the Paradise Comics Toronto Comicon (2003-2007). CGC’s (Comic book Grading Company) Signature Series Director (2005-2010). Creator, Black Light Comics – The Cat, Battlestar, Tales from the Hood (1986-1994). In his spare time, Kevin researches cancer.
