I started working with CGC in 2001. Initially Peter Dixon (Paradise Comics) and I piloted the program at shows and assisted in the development of the Signature Series program. I was the company’s first Signature Series Director – traveling to shows across North America for the company between 2005 and early 2010, assisting customers in obtaining autographs for their collectibles and working with approved Witnesses.
In 2010, an increased workload led to my stepping down from the position, although I assisted the company at some events such as C2E2 and the New York Comic Con for a while afterwords.
Since 2005 until about 2015 I was an Overstreet Price Guide Adviser, and my market reports appeared in several editions of the annual Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide.
Unfortunately I got too busy to put the reports together and they eventually cut my adviser status. 😦

The Comic Book Lounge did accept CGC submissions through the store and at conventions, but I’ve pretty much stopped doing that because my central focus is on running the comics sections at the Fan Expo HQ events.
Hello, I have 1 particular comic book I was looking to grade but I’m not really sure of what the process is. Also what the cost is to grade comic books. If you could get back to me that would be great. Thanks so much.
Please email info@comicbooklounge.com with more details – Cgc prices vary based on the age and value of the books.
